The Gelato collection features colourways inspired by beautifull pastel ice cream cones. They're the second series in my NON-EDIBLES category.

Gelato cakes are an Ombreccino 50/50 blend, meaning the ombre effect is happening on two threads, while the other two threads remain one colour.

All colour changes are of equal length, but in this collection the last colour is doubled for added comfort in crocheting or knitting, providing extra yarn seamlessly integrated into the cake.

These cakes are a blend of 2-ply 50% cotton and 50% acrylic (where the ombre occurs) and 2-ply 50% bamboo and 50% cotton going throughout the whole cake.

Qualities of bamboo and cotton makes them perfect cakes for your summer projects, dresses, tops etc. They're breathable, cooling, way softer than regular cotton/acrylic cakes and feel amazing against bare skin. 

Each Gelato cake has a cute name and features an ice cream cone graphic on its label.

Yarn weight: 1 or super fine, 4 ply, fingering, sock, baby

Suggested hook/needle size: 2.5–3.5mm

Please bear in mind that bamboo/cotton threads are thinner than cotton/acrylic.
