Each museum-quality illumination is made with bright archival water resistant inks on velvety smooth lightfast acid free pH neutral 100% α-cellulose German Etching paper by Hahnemühle who’s papers have been prized in European houses of nobility for centuries for their highest levels of craftsmanship and superb durability. 

Only 500 Sandalwood Star Black illuminations each of three sizes will be made from digitally weaving together two colored pencil illuminations set in a black background and some have a mulberry border. ~ A Chinese design with warm saffron hues original created for a friend of mine who loved Chinese culture and his bride of Indian decent, this resplendent artwork almost seems to catch fire right off the page from its heavily gilded flames. © BKS
