The JAM Pedals WaterFall is a reliable all-analog chorus and vibrato meant for the most die-hard modulation fans to the most skeptical. At the center of the effect is a bucket brigade delay chip design inspired by the Panasonic MN3207. What this adds up to is an authentically rich and luscious chorus tone that starts authentically and traditionally but quickly scales up into more nontraditional hemispheres. Your classic two-dial, blue box-style choruses are well within reach with the WaterFall's proprietary, analog design with great shimmer, sway, and splash at every step.
This experience builds up with two two-way switches that push the modulating experience further. On the rightmost toggle, the WaterFall swaps into a mode that leans much more heavily into vibrato territory. The tone in question produces a more prominent pitch modulation for your off-kilter, slacker-indie modulation twists and turns. From there, the modulation offers one more gear higher to kick into on the leftmost toggle that washes out the total modulation even further for more drastic, drenched effect. Standard nine volt center negative power operation slips this effect seamlessly into your existing board and soft-touch switching makes playability a breeze.
