Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. Compressed operating thickness is 0.070". Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for todays high output engines and require no sealants. MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements.This Part Fits:

I like the lack of sweeteners and flavor. I just want the stuff that helps me poop. There is some citric acid in it (no idea why) which gives it a mildly acidic taste. Other than that, it does the trick.

Good Stuff

If you need more fiber in your diet, you need this. The price is right, it works very well and keeps me regular. I use this instead of the gummies or capsules. That's because you MUST put in in fluid, and hydration is SO important when using a psyllium product as it causes water to be absorbed very quickly once it is ingested, and you don't want to dehydrate! Mixes very well in water and has little to no taste whatsoever. Stay regular, stay hydrated and stay well.

I like the mildly tart taste of this unflavored, unsweetened drink made up with water. The texture doesn't bother me, with stirring right from the beginning of adding the water, there is no clumping. After 10 days there is no effect on my bowels which were regular previously anyway. My doctor wanted me to use this although I already have a high fiber diet.

Definitely Not Unflavored. This is Tart / Sour, Which Limits the Options to Certain Juices

I was expecting an unflavored fiber powder. However, expect a sour/tart taste. This means you can't add it to tea or coffee. I don't think it is appropriate to say that it is "unflavored" as I've had psyllium husk from other vendors that are truly "unflavored" (i.e. no citric acid). Dextrin (another fiber source) is also unflavored. But this Metamucil is tart (like sucking a lime) and can only be added to tart juices like orange juice or lemonade.
