This piece is rough sawn. The grain is long and mostly straight, with exception of a couple of small knots with swirling grain around them. This piece has been air dried to 8 10% moisture content. There are superficial surface marks on one face that will sand off easily; these were from this

I see no cracks, checks, or flaws in this pretty spindle. |
