The front part of the cavesson noseband is made from three waxed twisted strands of rope covered in soft leather.
A rope noseband gives greater control over an onward bound or pulling horse than a standard cavesson. The soft leather covering helps to prevent any rubbing on the horse's nose.
Please note that this noseband is designed for brief action and must not be tight. To check that it fits correctly, you must be able to slip two fingers between the noseband and the horse’s nose.
The bridle has an S-shaped anatomic headpiece with an accentuated curve, and the browband sits lower down on the headpiece than the previous design. This means the bridle sits further away from the base of your horse's ears - one of the most sensitive spots on the head - meaning there is less pressure in this area and makes it more suitable for the modern sports horse.
The browband is slightly square-raised, and features a steel D logo initial on the left side.
The bridle has a complete headpiece so the noseband attaches on both sides, allowing for easy and precise adjustment.
The Dy'on New English Collection is made from Grade 1 Catalan leather tanned in Igualana, Spain using a vegetable tanning method exclusively developed by Dy'on for the highest levels of quality using natural dyes for an English leather type finish.
The range has a discreet look with tone-on-tone stitching and stainless steel buckles.
