The 1979-80 season saw Gretzky put up 51 goals and 86 assists and at just 19 years old Gretzky would win the Hart Trophy and Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (his 137 points tied for the league lead but he did not win the Art Ross Trophy because Marcel Dionne had two more goals).
