This PRS SE Chleo is based on the 2025 PRS Chleo Limited Edition model and sets out to capture its empowering essence. Herman Li, lead guitarist of one of rock's most mythical bands, DragonForce, comes together in a close collaboration with PRS Guitars to produce this striking, soaring SE series instrument. Known for his blisteringly fast and ultra-precise playing, Li calls upon this PRS Chleo to keep up as he takes on modern power metal's biggest stages.

Beginning with a sleek, double-cutaway body brought together by a mahogany back, a maple top, and a flame maple veneer, this classic tonewood combination works as an exceptional base from which the rest of the musical experience can launch. The body's sculpted carve makes for a very thin and lightweight model as it enables easy trips across the stage while playing.

From here, the model's maple neck assumes a speedy PRS Chleo neck shape and neck joint to make for unencumbered trips from higher to lower registers. This lightning-fast neck is matched by an ebony fingerboard bearing twenty-four frets and an unprecedented twenty-inch radius. If you want speed, you'll need a radius like this, of course, as it maximizes precision across an incredibly flat board. This fingerboard also, in lieu of the classic PRS Birds, welcomes a different type of winged friend. The fingerboard bears, what else, PRS Eclipse Dragons that assume imposing silhouettes across the deep ebony.

The PRS SE Chleo loads in the same signature pickups as the Limited Edition model that preceded it. Its Fishman Fluence Signature Series Omniforce Herman Li single-coil and humbucking pickups create a wealth of tones through its innovative and versatile switching system of a five-way switch and push/pull volume and tone knobs that produces up to thirteen unique tone combinations. Copper-free layered PCBs land within these Fishmans for consistency and minimized hum. The spectrum of sound available from these proprietary pickups ranges from thick, aggressive rhythm tones to searing, screaming leads to clear-as-crystal single-coil snap. Powered by a nine-volt battery, these pickups are designed to blend seamlessly into tube amp-based setups, modern amp modelers, or purely digital DAW plugin workstations.

The hardware of this Herman Li special is fitted for maximized stability in the face of high-octane playing. A Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo bridge aligns at the base of the scale with a PRS locking nut and PRS-designed tuners at its opposite end for welcoming deep, expressive vibrato bends. This SE model comes with an included PRS gig bag.
