Olivier Pichon started making wine in the Languedoc in 2015 after a career as a social worker in Lyon - we love his juicy wines.
An easy drinking, fruity and fresh red with notes of forest fruit. A blend of mostly Grenache with 20% Cinsault from 17- to 30-year-old vines underwent whole cluster fermentation in concrete tank for 3-4 days with no topping up and no sulphur added. The wine rested in tank for seven months before bottling. The result is an incredibly glou glou red - rich yet delicate, with a touch of acidity to add balance and drinkability.
