Avram Brown, professionally known as The Wheel, is a Portland, Oregon-based recording artist and producer. Brown's earliest musical inspiration was his parents' '60s- and '70s-heavy record collection. With folk music roots that ran deep, poetry and songwriting came early in life, but soon gave way to a fascination with improvised psychedelic rock, jazz, experimental, devotional and avant-garde music. Combining his melodic vocal-driven song-craft with kaleidoscopic production and guitar textures, The Wheel spins open an interdimensional portal that weaves indie folk-rock into psychedelic dreamscapes on his debut self-titled album releasing in early 2024. The Wheel and Raymond Richards (Local Natives, LCD Soundsystem) co-produced the record, which features contributions from violist/arranger Kyleen King (Brandi Carlile, The Decemberists), recording engineer Larry Crane (Elliot Smith), and the late great Ralph Carney (Tom Waits, The B-52's) on baritone saxophone and bass clarinet. Using geological and artistic reasoning to assess terrain/outcrops and sketch them realistically
Format: Hardcover
This book was surprisingly helpful in learning to see which featuers dominate a terrain and which details to ignore, which to focus on so that the scale and architecture are accurate. Handy for geologists, geographers and landscape artists.

Boggs jr. Review
Format: Hardcover
After reading several books on sedimentary petrology, this seems to be far away the best book of my list. Chapters on diagenesis are just delicious, both of clastic and carbonate rocks. Provenance, textures and structures are complete too, and sistematics are well organiced and complete. Very recommended, I choose Boggs Jr. It arrived in great conditions without any problems.

Good Sed Pet book
Had to get this book for a class. Not the worst read and the material is dry but overall a good book.
