No harsh chemicals are used in their production — no petroleum, no turpentine, and no dangerous fumes. Made with CCS Lavender Spike Oil Essence, these varnishes feature a distinctive lavender scent. They're prepared by hand using premium natural materials and formulas based on historic recipes and techniques. Handcrafted from the finest materials, Lavender Damar Varnish can be used as a final, protective varnish or with mediums to thin paint and decrease drying time.
This varnish is made with Lavender Spike Oil Essence, which is a historically documented solvent used since the Renaissance. It is non-carcinogenic and has a strong herbaceous scent. Use in a well-ventilated area, and it may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to strong scents. Our Painting Varnishes come in glass bottles.
