Premier opus du groupe originaire du New Jersey, "Crazy Rhythms" est un album post-punk acclamé pour son originalité, sa nervosité rythmique, et son approche minimaliste mais intense du rock. C’est un disque fondamental dans l’émergence de l’indie rock américain.

Malgré un succès commercial mitigé à sa sortie, il est devenu culte, notamment chez des groupes comme R.E.M. ou Sonic Youth. Il représente une transition entre le punk des années 70 et l’indie/college rock des années 80.

My nephew can look at this book for hours. It is such a cool book even for adults. It is a more delicate child’s book as their are lots of demonstrations and paper pieces that move. The house across the street is being torn down and rebuilt and he will sit and point to the book and say this is what they are doing today. I think this book is one of my nephews most prized possessions. It’s a great book that can grown with them for a few years. He is only 3 but this could easily engage a 5 or 6 year old. There is lots of details and the book is really well designed.

I really like this dark fantasy comic series. A long time ago, the world turned into darkness. The sun did not shine any more, and anybody who was in the dark for too long turned into a monster. Humans still survive. They drive around and live. The monsters are afraid of light. The artwork is really really good. Monsters and humans are drawn with excellent detail. You can actually see what's going on. The fight scenes are easy to understand. Can't wait to read Volume 2.
