These pear shaped settings have a generous setting wall to create a professional finish to the setting, and are quite deep so that they are more versatile, they could be shaped for a ring or used as a pendant with the chain threading through. The walls taper and there is a ledge inside the setting to help seat the stone perfectly... Sometimes the stone (if well cut) will seat perfectly without needing to burr any metal away!
Designed to be set with either a pusher or a hammer action tool. Use stone setting and round burrs to help seat your stone perfectly.
