Sharing many of the same outstanding specifications and features as the PRS S2 Custom 24, this model integrates a new level of tonal versatility with an updated switching system. Crafted in Maryland, the S2 Custom 24-08’s American-made TCI pickups match with a three-way toggle switch and two mini-toggle coil tap switches. Tapping this PRS’s TCI humbuckers switches them into true single-coils for a total of eight possible pickup configurations. With enough directions to venture off and conquer any tonal landscape, this S2 Custom 24-08 ensures all the dynamic tonality PRS is known for.
Apart from its cutting-edge tonal variety, this S2 Custom’s physical appointments are also to write home about. A maple top and mahogany back come together to make a form-fitting shape in hand. PRS’s Pattern Thin-shaped mahogany neck joins the body with a twenty-four fret rosewood fingerboard. The iconic PRS Bird inlays detail the board for that added element of PRS authenticity.
The PRS experience, always taking the next furthest step, integrates PRS’s patented tremolo design. Low-mass locking tuners adorn the classic PRS headstock, only adding to the guitar’s tonal stability. This guitar ships in style with a PRS Premium gig bag to travel anywhere it’s led.
