With the collar extension up, it’s a street-ready Chinese-style military jacket. Turn the lapels down and it becomes a minimalist 3-button blazer, with magnetic closures holding the lapels perfectly in place. Zippered vents in in our signature Japanese cotton/nylon blend and super-stretch mesh gussets under each arm allow more freedom of movement than any blazer you’ve ever met, while a hidden internal strap allows the entire jacket to be worn over the shoulder, messenger bag style, when your environment heats up. 2 large external pockets and 1 inside chest pocket provide ample storage for travel documents and other personal items.

What's special about the British Columbia atlas is that it is spiral bound. I just replaced my Oregon atlas after 20 years because the cover had ripped up and torn off and the pages were falling out. Memories of the Camino

First off, I have to say that my husband and I know Angela, the author. We met her because she is a neighbor of my sister, living in Hawaii. We discovered that she planned to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela the same year we were (2016) ! On a visit to Hawaii, we met with Angela and did a little local hike together. She was so enthusiastic and had prepared well. We, too, had been reading up and watching videos, getting suggestions as to what to bring, how to deal with physical issues and weather, what to pack and what not to pack, etc. Still, for anyone doing the Camino - whether the WHOLE 500 miles or doing the required 100 km to get the certificate at the final destination: Santiago de Compostela, Spain - it is a very personal endeavor. Reading Angela Leslee's book gives you the personal story of her "camino," and it is captivating. The changes that take place in her life - the discoveries she makes, the people she meets, the failures she feels, the fears, the habits that get broken (such as food choices!) - all make for an adventure that is life-changing and an interesting read. For anyone considering this pilgrimage, because that's what it is, this book will inspire you. You don't need to be part of a "group." You don't need a lot of plans. You do need to be prepared to be changed. The memory for myself and my husband is that it is the best shared experience we have had together in our 50 years of marriage! Angela's book brought back so many wonderful memories for us. I highly recommend this book.
