To wrap up a full year of celebration, Taylor's 2024 and fiftieth anniversary culminates with the Taylor Guitars Legacy Collection 714ce. As part of the Taylor Guitars Legacy Collection, this Grand Auditorium, released exclusively through this collection, closes out 2024's festivities for Taylor's fiftieth year. Unique tonewoods and specially-designed aesthetics make this Legacy Collection model a one-of-a-kind among Taylors and perfectly encapsulates fifty years of a job well done.

The Taylor Legacy 714ce comes together with an eye toward Taylor's lineage as guitar crafters. For this model, Bob Taylor personally looked back into the brand's history to make a model that balances Taylor standards both new and old. While not a strict recreation of any legacy Taylors from decades past, this Legacy Collection model represents a culmination of fifty years of experimentation, refinement, and musicality.

As a Taylor model, the 714ce is constructed in a Grand Auditorium shape with a body cutaway. The Grand Auditorium model, joining in with a celebration of its own of thirty years as a model, still exists as a standby model among Taylor Guitars, representing the innovation they commonly champion. This Grand Auditorium body is constructed with a western red cedar top. As a tonewood, western red cedar plays with great touch-sensitivity and warmth to accommodate fingerpicking and light strumming, perfect for singer-songwriters and performers. The western red cedar meets with a redesigned Taylor X-Bracing pattern, fitted to summon the sounds of '90s and '00s Taylor models. To complete this tonal portrait, Indian rosewood drops in for classic fullness and balance.

Along with its great tonewood combination, this Legacy Collection builds up its playability and visual presentation with a number of fine specifications. A mahogany neck lands on this model and pairs with a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard for an easy grip and smooth playability. The West African ebony, a relatively newer addition to the Taylor line of standard woods, joins in to represent Taylor's historic dedication to environmental conservation and responsible sourcing of natural materials. These two woods are matched with an L.R. Baggs Element VTC electronics system that seamlessly translates the sounds of this 714ce to the stage.

The Legacy 714ce is a marvel of Taylor aesthetic design. To tie everything together, this Taylor is designed with a suite of aesthetic appointments, making it really shine. Appointments include black plastic binding, a green abalone three-ring rosette, a gloss body finish and satin neck finish, a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, and green abalone dot fingerboard inlays. Finally, this Legacy Collection model features a specially-designed "Legacy" label within its body and travels with a Taylor Deluxe Hardshell case from place to place.

Marking fifty years of fine acoustic guitar craft, the Taylor Legacy Collection is truly a special line from Taylor. Take part in Taylor history with this 714ce and hear the legacy for yourself.

Classy fully automatic watch - lots of bling too
Watches with a mechanical movement are becoming more mainstream despite the impact of smart watches and quartz movement timepieces. With a pure mechanical watch, there are no concerns about battery charge so when you pick it up from the nightstand, all you would have to do is give the stem a twist to wind the main spring, reset the time and off you go - and that's only if it has stopped. If it hasn't stopped (it won't if you wear it every day or have a watch winder) you strap it on and you are all set. I gave this watch my regular accuracy test set against a clock linked to the atomic time source. To my great surprise, it was as accurate as one of my much more expensive mechanical watches (how much more expensive? This watch costs about the same as the sales tax on the most pricy watch in the closet !!) I use the included watch bracelet tool to remove a link from the watch to get a proper fit. Including the tool in the box saves you the $10 plus fee a jeweler might charge you to make the adjustment - very cool. And you probably will need to remove at least one link - some may need to remove two - since the bracelet has a generous size. Speaking of the bracelet, it's beautiful. I wore the watch today to church and a friend said it had "heavy duty bling" ... But she did say she thought it was beautiful and I concur. Finally, The way the bracelet clasp works is reminiscent of a Longines bracelet i have and that spells quality to me. The dial is black with chrome shiny minute markers so visibility in good light is excellent. I do not detect any glow in the dark markings on the hands or the minute markers - factor that in for your purchase decision. I see this watch as serving as your "good" watch for business wear, to don for a meal at a fancy restaurant or for that big date night. I think it has a classic look that (despite the bling of the bracelet) is conservative enough for anyone and any business situation. The only place I wouldn't wear it is to the beach or the gym despite the fact that it has claimed that it is waterproof to depths you probably will never experience. Accurate, beautiful, real quality that translates to good value and capable of being almost anyone's "good" watch. Recommended

Es muy elegante
Color: 3316:white band white dial
The OUPINKE Automatic Two-Tone Skeleton Watch is a stylish timepiece that blends luxury design with mechanical craftsmanship. Its gold and silver stainless steel construction gives it an elegant, premium look suitable for both formal and casual occasions. Design & Appearance: This watch stands out with its two-tone bracelet and gold-accented bezel, creating a bold and sophisticated aesthetic. The dial features crystal-style hour markers, multiple subdials, and a visible skeleton window at the bottom that showcases the internal movement. These details add a high-end feel often associated with more expensive watches. Movement & Performance: It uses an automatic mechanical movement, which means it winds itself through the motion of your wrist—no battery required. This is a major advantage for watch enthusiasts who appreciate traditional watchmaking. The watch also includes useful calendar features such as day, date, and month indicators. Build Quality: The stainless steel case and bracelet feel solid and durable. The polished finish enhances its luxury appeal, although like most polished watches, it may show fingerprints or small scratches over time. Comfort: Despite its robust design, the watch is comfortable to wear. The bracelet is well-balanced, and the clasp keeps it secure on the wrist.

Exceptional quality
I have only had the watch for a few days, but Oupinke watches are very high quality. It keeps time very well and serves as an attention grabber. Great value for the money. It isn't easy to determine where it was made, but it is a Chinese company. Don't stop there with preconceived ideas about cheap products and low quality from China. These watches are exceptional, high-end, and dedicated to creating a brand that endures and stands for quality, rather than simply turning a profit. I would put this watch against those that cost 3-4 times as much. If you are a watch enthusiast, they are worth adding to your collection.

Higher quality than I expected, especially for the price. I have recieved lots of compliments, but I have never told anyone what I paid for it. I use it for a daily wear, and when I go out for dinner.

Good Watch - Hard To Adjust Band
The good: Good quality. Keeps accurate time. The not so good: The not so good is not a problem with the watch but a problem with adjusting the metal band. And that is not the band's fault. That's my fault. To adjust the band so it fits the wrist one must take out links in the band. A tool comes with the watch to aid link removal. I just could not do it. So I replaced this band with another metal band that has a quick adjust magnetic closure.
