Thuis in Franschhoek heeft hij naam gemaakt met kanjers van wijnen als Boekenhoutskloof Semillon, Syrah en Cabernet Sauvignon, die stuk voor stuk tot de absolute top van Zuid-Afrika behoren.

Volle, rijke Cabernet Sauvignon, maar wel met een jeugdige elegantie. In de geur wilde bessen, zwarte bessen, specerijen, cederhout en tabak. Neem een slok en er komen nog bramen, laurier, peper en pruimen bij. Mooi gelaagd, met een intense, lange afdronk.
