Beschrijving: Aards, leer, zwart fruit, medium, kruidig, robuust maar vriendelijk.

Lekker bij: Steak met gegrilde groentes, lamsvlees.

Leuk weetje: Mauro, zoon van Giuseppe, is sinds 1967 bezig met het verfijnen van het landgoed, met name door de opbrengsten te verlagen, een sorteertafel in te voeren om perfecte trossen te garanderen, en door Monprivato vanaf 1970 op de markt te brengen als een enkele wijngaardwijn.
