Klassiek scheermes of double edge safety razor voor comfortabel scheren en een glad scheerresultaat. Stijlvol scheermes met gesloten kam voor double edge scheermesjes. Geschikt voor lichte tot normale baardgroei. Veel mannen scheren zich het liefst met dit scheermes. Het scheert prettiger, voorkomt ingegroeide haren en de scheermesjes zijn vele male goedkoper dan de moderne dure Gillette scheermesjes.

Waar moet je opletten bij de aanschaf van een safety razor? 
Safety razors met gesloten kam zijn de meest gangbare scheermessen. Geschikt voor de beginnende scheerder en het scheren van de lichte tot normale baardgroei. Ook geschikt voor de gevoelige huid. Scheermessen met een open kam scheren iets directer of 'agressiever'. Deze zijn geschikt voor de ervaren scheerder en het scheren van de normale tot zware (stugge baardharen) baardgroei. Het scheermes met een vlindersluiting heeft een lichte scheerkop en is geschikt voor de lichte baardgroei. Met de safety razor met een instelbare scheerkop kan de snijhoek van het double edge scheermesje en de 'gap' (= opening van de scheerkop) worden ingesteld. Hierdoor kan je tijdens het scheren de mate van 'agressiviteit' afstemmen op je persoonlijke scheertechniek. Dit type scheermes is geschikt voor elk type baardgroei of huid. Daarnaast telt ook het gewicht van het scheermes mee: een licht scheermes voor lichte baardgroei; een zwaar scheermes voor normale tot zware baardgroei.

Gebruik

  1. Eerst goed de baardharen inzepen.
  2. Hou het scheermes onder een hoek van ca. 30 graden t.o.v. de huid
  3. Druk het mes licht op de huid
  4. Scheer met de baardharen mee
  5. Bij het nekgedeelte trek de huid strak met de andere hand.

Na een paar keer oefenen wil je niets liever meer dan scheren met het klassieke scheermes.

It works very well in conjunction with "The 5 love languages" and "The 5 languages of apology", also offered by Dr. Chapman. There are free online quizzes and other info that can also be utilized as mentioned in the book that will enrich everything else he discusses in the book. There are several applicable true to life stories inside that help you understand each point he is attempting to relay and makes for an easy read by keeping interest up. I also ordered the audio version and found it easier to listen to and take notes for self enrichment, as well as notes for guiding others into what I hope will be lasting marriages.

Good discussion book to eliminate conflict between couples

Use this book as a checklist of things you should discuss with your partner - especially if you're considering or are in a long-term relationship. It explains each topic, why it's a likely source of conflict, how to prevent the conflicts, and includes questions for discussion between partners. Understanding and discussing these topics may not feel romantic and fun, and some of the conversations may be challenging for couples who aren't accustomed to such discussions. I'm on this end of the spectrum, hence 4 of 5 stars because I'm familiar with the author's other work and this book didn't contain much new content. As a compact, all-in-one, relationship discussion guide though, it's great and worth reading and having on hand for future reference for new relationships or for when new conflicts crop up.
