De Malbec-wijnstokken van Alpasión groeien op een hoogte van 1.200 meter boven de zeespiegel in de Uco-vallei. Ze gedijen goed op de bodems van zandige leem en stenen die typerend zijn voor het gebied. Met wijnstokken van acht jaar oud en een hoge dichtheid van 6.250 planten per hectare, zorgt Alpasión ervoor dat de unieke kenmerken van de bodem goed tot uiting komen in de wijn. Ze beheren hun wijngaarden zorgvuldig, met precieze snoei- en duntechnieken, om ervoor te zorgen dat elke druif zijn volledige potentieel bereikt. Dit resulteert in een wijn met een rijke, complexe smaak. Bij Alpasión maken ze de Alpasión Grand Malbec op een traditionele manier. De druiven worden met de hand geplukt en gesorteerd. Ze fermenteren in roestvrijstalen tanks met natuurlijke gisten en blijven daar ongeveer 15 dagen, waardoor de wijn veel kleur en tannines krijgt. Daarna ondergaat de wijn een natuurlijke malolactische fermentatie en wordt hij niet gefilterd voordat hij gebotteld wordt. Dit alles benadrukt de echtheid en puurheid van de wijn. Als je de Alpasion Grand Malbec in het glas ziet, valt meteen de diepe, bijna ondoorzichtige paarse kleur op, die lijkt op inkt. Aan de randen heeft het zelfs een neon magenta gloed. Deze rode wijn is rijk en vol van smaak, met een overvloed aan sappige, rijpe blauwe en zwarte vruchten die je tegemoet komen. Na 12 maanden rijping in Franse eiken vaten komen er ook subtiele tonen van geroosterde eik en cacaopoeder naar voren, wat een extra laag van complexiteit en verfijning toevoegt aan de wijn.Shipping Notes

Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.

Mostly great, except one little annoyance

Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included.
Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some!
This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them.

Beautiful, functional, and perfect for a stylish coffee bar
I absolutely love this scale. As someone who cares about both function and aesthetics, this was exactly what I was looking for. Great scale, an excellent buy

Is it possible to fall in love with a scale? I unboxed this one and, without reading any directions, put an empty 1/4 cup on it, turned the scale on, filled the 1/4 cup with coffee beans till I had the desired 17 or so grams, and turned the scale off. Easy-peasy! It’s small but sensitive, able to tell when a single bean has been added or removed. I almost didn’t get it because of the charging issue, but at least it tells you what the current charge is, and the way I use it I believe it will last several months without recharging. I’m so glad I bought this scale!

Simple yet easy must have for discerning coffee drinkers

I seem to never get the same results from my coffee machine and it varied even more with the new brand that we just bought. I now have to make more adjustments with the water temperature, based on age, type of beans, etc. That affects the amount of ground dispensed and consistency in the shot until I get a new batch dialed in.
So the only way to regulate these changes is to weigh both the beans and water. Using this little scale has made things easier, less frustrating and more predictable.
What’s awesome is that it will automatically begin the timer with the first drop and stop when the pressure remains constant.
Simple yet easy and super convenient. If you are looking for a great little digital scale this should do the trick. Highly recommended.
