Wijnmakerij Paul Cluver stort zich al echt familiebedrijf geheel op het producten van wijnen van wereldklasse. De weerspiegelen stuk voor stuk het unieke karakter van het Elgin terroir met een koel klimaat. Ze zijn leider op het gebied van duurzame landbouw en pionier in de appellatie Elgin. Het is een klein wijngebied wat vroeger de appelstreek was. De bodem bestaat uit schalie en klei, wat een uitstekende ondergrond is voor aromatische druiven. De druiven Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir en Riesling doen het hier bijzonder goed. Alleen de allerbeste en rijpen druiven worden zorgvuldig geoogst. Het doel is om de elegantie, balans en expressie van het terroir mooi naar voren te brengen. Daarom worden de druiven in de wijnmakerij streng gecontroleerd en gesorteerd. De druiven worden zacht geperst en ondergaan vervolgens een gecontroleerde fermentatie in gebruikte houten vaten. Deze helder Sauvignon Blanc verschijnt met een groene tint in het glas. De heerlijke aroma’s springen uit het glas. Passievrucht, bessen en grapefruit komen duidelijk naar voren, wat wordt aangevuld met hints van minerale tonen. De tonen in de neus zetten ook door in de smaak. What a great watch! There are so many choices out there (even when you filter out a large portion of those you are clearly not interested in :-). Know what you like, use discipline with your cash, be logical, but then even after all that, you will eventually just have to let the right brain kick in and choose based on creativity and intuition. I needed a watch, and wanted a decent one, that looked good. This does all of that in style.
It's not too big, its fairly waterproof, easy to read with clean lines. I wanted lume...
The textured face has an interesting effect, like looking out a window at late dusk.
Don't buy too many things, but when you do be wise. Even the Dalai Lama likes good watches.

This is a fantastic watch!

This is a fantastic watch! I have about a 6.25 inch wrist and the 42mm version fits perfectly. I had actually purchased the 38mm version and had to return in because it was too small. The dial is amazing and the beauty of the watch is its simplicity. Its face is uncluttered but has the main features that I need, time, day and date. Plus, the automatic movement is quite accurate and smooth. Overall, I would recommend this watch to anyone who wants a clear and uncluttered watch that is very easy to read!
