Von Blumen, het gerenommeerde wijnhuis, belichaamt passie, kwaliteit en ambachtelijke wijnproductie. Gelegen in het betoverende Alto Adige in Noord-Italië, koestert het wijnhuis een rijke traditie en erfgoed in de wijnwereld. Het waren Roberta, Cristina en Giuseppe Fugatti, die in 2013 vol enthousiasme Von Blumen opgericht hebben. Geïnspireerd door het noordelijke Alto Adige, omarmden ze de uitdaging om wijnen van buitengewone kwaliteit te creëren. De druiven voor deze wijn worden zorgvuldig met de hand geplukt uit de wijngaarden rondom Pochi di Salorno, op een hoogte van gemiddeld 514 meter. Het unieke terroir en de klimatologische omstandigheden van deze regio geven de druiven een bijzonder karakter. Na het voorzichtig kneuzen en ontstelen van de druiven, ondergaat het sap een gecontroleerde vergisting in roestvrijstalen tanks. Tijdens dit proces blijven de schillen in contact met het sap, wat bijdraagt aan de rijke kleur en de intense smaak van de wijn. Om nog meer smaak- en kleurextractie te bevorderen, wordt de wijn dagelijks overgepompt. Na de vergisting krijgt de Von Blumen 514 Blauburgunder Pinot Nero de tijd om te rijpen en te ontwikkelen in grote houten vaten. Von Blumen 514 Blauburgunder Pinot Nero is een wijn die je met zijn heldere doorschijnende robijnrode kleur meteen in het glas betovert. Bij het ruiken van de wijn komen de aroma's van sappige kersen, rijpe frambozen en verleidelijke rozen je tegemoet. De geur is intens en heerlijk geurig. Bij de eerste slok word je verwelkomd door een explosie van fruitigheid. De smaak van rijpe kersen en sappige frambozen domineert, vergezeld van subtiel bloemige tonen die de wijn elegantie geven. Can't hurt him
Format: Paperback
I've had many conversations with different people about Goggins, and I would have to say it's been a near 50|50 split of people supporting him and people having issues with him.
Here I will address the motivational aspect of the book:
The transformation Goggins went through from his lowest of low points to his highs are extremely admirable. He had a rough start and numerous setbacks that would've been a decent reason to keep his way of life as it was, but he felt stagnant. So he decided to change it but going after one of the hardest things you can do- prepping for Seal training.
Here I will address the methodology of his motivation:
In short, to become a Seal isn't a mere accident. It is 100% intentful. 100% a team required feat and effort. In some instances of the book, Goggins mentions he struggled with some of his peers, maybe even head-butting ideology where he may have gone solo on some things or didn't quite agree with how a team was being run. He has his own self reflections on this various incidents. However, what I would like to note is that the self-reflection exists (*I listened to the audiobook as well which offered other insight not part of the book).
I believe if you take what is necessary from the book: the motivation, the coaching, the curiosity or whatever you can get get out of the book that is a positive influence then that's great! There are plenty of people who do not like Goggins and because of that bias, they don't give credit to the content of his book. I would say, be an educated reader/consumer. There is always something to be learned/gained from other people's lives and experiences.

Thirty years on this earth… and this is the first book I’ve truly read from start to finish.
Format: Hardcover
Reading Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins didn’t just motivate me it shifted something inside me. It reminded me that struggle is universal, but mindset is the difference. He doesn’t stop when things get hard; he stops only when the mission is complete and then he looks for the next challenge. This book teaches you that obstacles aren’t there to break you, they’re there to build you. If you feel overwhelmed or stuck, this is the kind of book that wakes something up inside you.

Great Motivational Book
Format: Hardcover
If you can handle the language, this book will motivate you! He gives very insightful strategies on how he overcame obstacles in his life that I've been able to use to reach a few of my goals. Worth the read if you struggle with barriers or hurdles, you will find the tools to get past them.
