De Intel X550-T2 is een dual-port 10GBase-T netwerkkaart op basis van de Intel X550-chipset. Met twee onafhankelijke RJ45-poorten verbindt deze kaart direct op bestaande CAT6/CAT6A koperinfrastructuur — zonder optische transceivers of DAC-kabels. Dankzij auto-negotiatie op 100 Mb/s, 1 Gb/s én 10 Gb/s is de X550-T2 volledig backward-compatible en geschikt voor gefaseerde migratie naar 10GbE. Het Low Profile bracket maakt installatie mogelijk in compacte 1U rack-servers. Met ondersteuning voor SR-IOV, VMDq en iWARP is deze kaart ook sterk in gevirtualiseerde en HPC-omgevingen.
