Herkomst koffiebonen

Panama heeft een jaarlijkse productie van zo’n 100.000 zakken en is daarmee een kleine koffieproducent. De koffie is echter van zeer hoge kwaliteit en zorgt dat de regio een grote naam is in de ‘specialty coffee’ industrie. Het gebied staat bekend om z’n consistente kwaliteit, zeer voedingrijke bodem en perfecte hoeveelheid neerslag.

De koffieplanten worden gevoed door de vruchtbare vulkanische grond van de vulkaan de Baru. De koffie heeft een milde smaak en lage zuurgraad.
