Het is wel aangeraden om deze met een 'nieuwe' dop 8mm te bevestigen; een gebruikte dop kan slijtage vertonen, waardoor de gelakte kop schade kan oplopen.

Voorzien van zelfborende metaalboorpunt waardoor voorboren overbodig is. De schroeven zijn voorzien van een gelakte kop in RAL9002 antracietgrijs, dezelfde kleur als onze stock dakpanelen en wandpanelen. Op de derde foto zie je een overzicht van welk type schroef aangeraden wordt voor elk type paneel.

Standaard worden de schroeven voorzien van een dichtingsring op de schroef, en een tegendraad er vlak onder die iets groter is dan de diameter van de houtdraad. Bij dakpanelen dient onder de schroef een zadel gemonteerd te worden ter afdichting en verdeling van de kracht van de schroef, door de tegendraad wordt de buitenplaat van het sandwichpaneel strak tegen de dichting getrokken. Hierdoor ga je, zelfs bij de natuurlijke uitzetting en krimp van de panelen, steeds een goede afdichting behouden.
