Collageenvezels is het eiwit dat verantwoordelijk is voor de elasticiteit en stevigheid van onze bindweefsels. Onze bindweefsels bestaan onder andere uit pezen, kraakbeen, botten en gewrichtsbanden. Collageen heeft sterke flexibele eigenschappen en is erg sterk.
