Alecto SMART-RING20

Kijk wie er voor de deur staat zonder de deur te openen met de Alecto SMART-RING20.

Met deze Smart Wifi deurbel met camera zie je wie er aanbelt, waar je ook bent. Je krijgt hier direct een push melding van op je smartphone en/of tablet via de gratis Smart Life app. Ook als je niet thuis bent, kun je via deze app met de persoon die voor de deur staat praten.

Wifi deurbel

De draadloze deurbel werkt op Wifi en kan probleemloos rechtstreeks worden verbonden aan het (thuis)netwerk. Hier is geen bridge of gateway voor nodig.

Smart Life app

De deurbel werkt op de Smart Life App of Tuya app die gratis te downloaden zijn voor alle iOS en Android apparaten. Alle Alecto Smart Life producten kunnen worden beheerd in deze app. Zo kan de SMART deurbel ook gebruikt worden in home automation scenario's. Hierdoor kun je bijvoorbeeld instellen dat de lamp begint te knipperen als er aangebeld wordt, zodat je echt zeker weet dat er iemand voor je deur staat.

Perfect beeld, ook in het donker

De Alecto SMART-RING20 video deurbel heeft een goede beeld- en geluidskwaliteit. Ook in het donker zie je wie er voor je deur staat door de IR-nachtverlichting. Bij het aanbellen verlicht de bel, waardoor je deze persoon erg duidelijk kunt zien. De deurbel is stofvrij en spatwaterdicht (IP54). Hij heeft een SD-kaart aansluiting (tot 128 GB). Alle videobeelden met beweging worden automatisch op de SD-kaart opgeslagen. Dit is gratis en hier zijn geen abonnementskosten aan verbonden.

Optimaal gezichtsveld camera

De SMART-RING20 wordt geleverd met een hoekbeugel, waardoor deze onder een hoek geplaatst kan worden. De kijkhoek is 55 graden verticaal en 100 graden horizontaal. Montagemateriaal is meegeleverd.

Alecto SMART-RING-BELL

Breid de Alecto SMART-RING20 uit met de extra deurbel, de SMART-RING-BELL. Dit is een uitbreiding van de bestaande smart wifi deurbel met camera.

Met deze uitbreiding kun je het bereik van de deurbel verlengen. Deze twee deurbellen staan draadloos met elkaar in verbinding. Wanneer er iemand voor de deur staat, krijg je een melding via de gratis Smart Life app. Naast deze melding hoor je ook in huis de deurbel afgaan. Met de Alecto SMART-RING-BELL kun je tussen vier verschillende melodieën kiezen als beltoon. Het volume hiervan kun je zelf instellen.

This book authored by David Croteau is truly an enjoyable yet at the same time a convicting read. Even though it was written about 10 years ago, the principles of interpretation advocated by him to deal with the "mistaken and misleading legends" are timeless. Out of the 40 legends, I have encountered at least half of them in the local church, writings and even seminary especially issues pertaining to salvation, Christian living and women's adornment. The main takeaway is this: Just as there are three things that matter in property: "Location, Location, Location", similarly the three main things that matter in interpretation of the Word is: "Context, Greek, and Background Information", or even simpler: "Context, Context, Context". David Croteau has demonstrated in his 40 legends the utmost importance of context in correctly interpreting a particular passage which was unfortunately taken out of context. The interpretation can further be handled even more accurately by taking into account the Greek language and the socio-historical background behind the text. In fact, I have been focusing on these three elements in my hermeneutical approach whenever I come across passages which I need more understanding. I don't know Greek; but with the many useful online Greek tools nowadays, I can always do a word study which more or less balances my lacking of Greek knowledge. Also, the study of socio-historical background is extremely illuminating if one have access to these resources. Personally, I discover that a proper understanding of background information can eliminate most of the mistaken or misleading interpretation of a text. Lastly, I totally agree with David Croteau's conclusion: "In the end our goal should be to interpret Scripture as accurately as possible, to apply that interpretation to our own lives, and to be transformed by God’s Word so that our lives may bring glory to the One who rescued us from an eternal destiny in hell." His conclusion reminds me of a phrase which I encountered years ago: "Orthodoxy Will Lead to Orthopraxy and Orthopathy." Indeed, only by "accurately handling the word of truth" (2 Tim 2:15) can we realise the necessity of holy living and the proper response that we should have towards our living God.

The title is what drew me to the book, and then the shortness of the chapters convinced me to take up this book and read it. I've read various types of theology books, but this one addresses underlying viewpoints that the average Christian assumes. While addressing these legends, the author does a wonderful job helping the reader grow in his or her biblical interpretational skills. And the author does this in a way that is both gracious and easy to understand. Even if a reader may not agree with every conclusion, I heartily recommend this book, not only for the legends it addresses, but for the opportunity to learn how to interpret the Bible.
