In dit tweede spel van de reeks die is begonnen met Sea Salt & Paper gaat het erom je kaarten zo slim mogelijk in een rooster van 3 bij 3 kaarten te leggen en zo de meeste punten te scoren. Je pakt om beurten kaarten van een centrale markt en je vraagt je dus steeds af: wat heb ik nodig en welke kaarten wil ik niet bij mijn tegenstanders in het tableau hebben? Een fijn puzzelig spel, met illustraties die je meevoeren naar een dromerig landschap vol boselfjes en andere vriendelijke wezens.

Pixies speelt snel wel en is makkelijk uit te leggen. Toch zit er veel diepgang in, meer dan je misschien op het eerste gezicht zou zeggen. Omdat je op meerdere manieren punten kunt verdienen, moet je bij de keuze van nieuwe kaarten steeds weer de balans zoeken. Om veel punten te kunnen scoren, moet je soms ook kaarten die je eerder gepakt hebt opofferen: dat doet een beetje zeer, maar is belangrijk voor wie uiteindelijk echt goed wil worden in dit spel.

I have wanted a sponge holder to put inside my sink for a while now. I wanted something attactive and I wanted it to work as it should. Seemed reasonable until I started looking and reading reviews. Because I read the reviews I knew what to do and it worked! I am very pleased with this sponge holder. Nice, sturdy little sponge and brush holder for the side of the sink. I was afraid my sink would me too small and spent lots of time trying to find a holder for the rim/countertop area. This one is not too big but fits my dobie and brillo perfectly. My sink is a little too short for a full fledged brush so when I tried to put in the brush I use sometimes it sticks up too much. That's really not the products fault so I won't subtract the score because of it. Also, I decided to put the holder flush against the side closest to me, instead of the side or the back of the sink. If I had chosen that location, the brush sticking out might not be an issue.

I've been through many rag holders before including a magnetic one, which broke. But the suction on this sucker (pun intended) is top notch! It doesn't slide around or come off or slide to the bottom of the sink. It just stays put which is so unique for anything with suction cups. The only reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is quite small. I wish it were a few inches longer so i could easily fit two rags or sponges in the holder. But i have to jam them in and its not pretty. So for the price, i think it should have been bigger. Still a good product because of the functionality of the suction cups.
