Het bedrijf Bel Colle is een wijnproducent in de gemeente Verduno, in de provincie Cuneo, in de regio Piemonte. Het is een van de belangrijkste wijnmakerijen in deze provincie. De wijngaarden hebben een prachtige zuidwestelijke ligging die samen met het microklimaat zorgt voor perfect rijpe druiven met een uniek karakter. Het wijnhuis werd in 1977 opgericht door drie broers. In 2015 werd het door Luca Bosio gekocht die de derde generatie van zijn familie vertegenwoordigt om wijngaarden te onderhouden en wijn te maken in Piëmonte. Het bedrijf staat bekent om het produceren van wijnen die delicater zijn met een uitzonderlijke elegantie en een pittig, bloemig karakter. Na de oogst van de Barbera druiven en een zorgvuldige fermentatie wordt het in kleine vaten gedaan om het proces te voltooien. Het sap ondergaat een hout lagering van 18 maanden in de kelders van Bel Colle. In deze periode ontwikkeld deze rode Barbera D'Alba Le Masche Barrique zich helemaal, het wordt een top glas. Deze Barbera kleurt robijn rood in het glas en zodra je hem inschenkt ruik je direct het prachtige boeket van kruiden, specerijen en moerbei. Het heeft een droge en volle smaak, met precies de juiste zuurgraad. In de smaak een volle aanzet met prachtige indrukken van fris rood en zwart fruit, lichte kruiden, beetje vanille, rijkdom van bloesem en in de finale een lange afdronk. Coring tool broke as soon as I tried to loosen the top. As far as a tube goes it is great. Seals tight, solid Aluminum throughout. You could throw this off a tall building and it would be fine afterwards.

I love this thing!
I can't overstate how much I love this thing! As someone who enjoys a good cigar on the go, I've tried various single cigar cases, but this one is in a league of its own. First, the build quality is outstanding. The aluminum alloy feels incredibly solid and durable in your hand. It's clear this was made to last. Nice light saber handle with some room for a cigar lol
I'll go straight to the point: this cigar tube is great! I really like the material, it's made of thick aluminium and it's design is both classy and nerdy at the same time, it looks like a jedi light saber handle lol
The hygrometer seems to be accurate, close to my other ones, it's a nice extra functionality.
The size of the tube is big enough for my largest cigars, so all good here.
I recommend it, either as a gift to yourself (because you deserve it!), or father's day, or any good occasion!

won't fit Churchill length or 60-ring diameter cigars

This is a good-looking device, solidly built, with a handy twist-out punch in the top and a humidity gauge in the bottom. The hygrometer is pointless, because there is no way to add anything to actually maintain the humidity, and since I would only use it to bring a cigar to a gathering, it really does not need to maintain that humidity for the 20-minute drive.
What really bugs me about this is the actual useable size. I primarily smoke 2 types of cigars, 54-ring Churchills (which are 7") and 60-ring Gorditos (which are 6"). Although the overall length of this is 8 1/4", the listing never mentions the interior space, which seems to be just under 6 1/2" when closed. My Montecristo sticks out about 1/4" when I insert it, and that does not take into account the 1/4" that the top pushes into when closed (that silver-colored area is solid), thus less than 6 1/2" useable length. Even out of the wrapper, my 60-ring Gorditos sticks when I try to push it in, so I'd have to take off the band(s) to force it in, and it would not slide out very easily, so I would mangle the cigar trying to get it out. So, this can hold a cigar that is 6" or less and maybe 54-ring without the wrapper. Anything else, and you would have to force it in and force it out. So, this unit, while very good looking and well built, does not work for my cigar needs.
