De Basilisco Teodosio 2021 is een karaktervolle biologische rode wijn uit Basilicata, afkomstig van wijngaarden op de vulkanische bodems rond de Monte Vulture. Die unieke terroir geeft de wijn zijn typische diepte, structuur en uitgesproken mineraliteit.

In het glas toont hij zich robijnrood met violette nuances. De neus is intens en uitnodigend, met aroma’s van rijpe pruimen, kersen en donker bosfruit, aangevuld met subtiele kruidige toetsen. In de mond is hij vol en krachtig, maar tegelijk mooi in balans, met een elegante tanninestructuur en een lange, minerale afdronk.

De wijn rijpt 12 maanden op eikenhout, gevolgd door 12 maanden flesrijping, wat zorgt voor extra complexiteit en finesse.
