Deze schaakstukken zijn letterlijk adembenemend, niet alleen vanwege de grootte maar ook vanwege het sierlijke snijwerk en het ingewikkelde ontwerp. palissander staat bekend om zijn vele diepe en rijke tinten, vaak bruinachtig met donkerdere aders. Door deze aanzienlijke kleurvariatie creëert dit hout uniciteit in schaakstukken, aangezien geen twee sets schaakstukken er precies hetzelfde uit zullen zien.

Van pion tot koning is elk schaakstuk prachtig vervaardigd met extra snijwerk aan de basis en kraag. Ze zijn allemaal verzwaard voor perfecte balans en de bodems zijn bekleed met biljartvilt.
