Oude, antieke wereldkaart in twee halfronden. Titel bovenaan in het midden. Deze wereldkaart is vanuit een Nederlands perspectief vervaardigd. De kaart heeft in de vier hoeken uitvoerige teksten die een aantal reizen onder auspicien van respectievelijk de VOC en van de WIC vermeld en gebieden noemt waar beide ondernemingen erin slaagden vaste voet aan wal te verkrijgen. De kaart maakt deze reizen inzichtelijk. De versieringselementen brengen eerder genoemde samenhang in beeld. Onder de titel in het midden tussen de twee hemispheren is het wapen van Holland afgebeeld. Links boven onder de tekst het monogram van de WIC, kamer Amsterdam. Rechts boven onder de tekst het monogram van de VOC, kamer Amsterdam. In het midden onderaan tussen de twee halfronden een afbeelding van de Hollandse tuin met daarin de Hollandse Maagd en achter het hek de Hollandse Leeuw. In de twee benedenhoeken een retourschip. Rugzijde blank.
Handgekleurde kopergravure. Uitgegeven in 1713 te Amsterdam door Henri Abraham Chatelain in Atlas Historique ou Nouvelle introduction (...).

Miracle in a bottle!
This was a lifesaver, I got badly burnt just walking for several miles one day. It was only in the 80's, not 100 degree's but still hot. Where I live there is a poor air quality, too. I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate it. So that was a plus! My only issue was it's a little tacky, sticky after you apply it. So don't apply right before bed, unless you want to be stuck to your sheets. If you're in dire need of relief and to reduce the redness, this is what you want, it is a miracle in a bottle!
