Ontwikkeld en getest in samenwerking met Greg Minnaar, de MAXXIS Assegai 27.5x2.60" 3C band Maxx Terra Exo ontleent zijn naam aan een speer die gebruikt werd door het Zulu-volk in Zuid-Afrika. Het is het perfecte wapen om tegen bergen te vechten.

Hij heeft hoge stijgijzers voor geweldige tractie en ondersteuning op droog, vochtig, hobbelig of rotsachtig terrein. Het 3C Maxx Grip rubber combineert drie verschillende compounds: één is hard voor de basis van de noppen om een goede stijfheid te garanderen wanneer ze vervormen en om een precieze pasvorm te behouden; de tweede is zacht voor de centrale noppen om hun vervorming te optimaliseren bij het remmen, trappen en het nemen van obstakels; en de laatste is zeer zacht voor de noppen op de zijkanten om maximale grip te bieden in bochten.

In deze Tubeless Ready versie, die met of zonder binnenband gemonteerd kan worden, is deze band ook voorzien van een Exo karkas op de zijwanden, wat extra bescherming biedt tegen schuren en scheuren.

The patent leather is very cute and adds just enough dressy that I can wear them with slacks or my Capri jeans. I like the slip on and the cushion foot bed because it feels soft.
