Spitfire is opgericht in 1987 in San Francisco en is al decennia een van de meest toonaangevende wielmerkern in het skateboarden. De Formula Four compound is Spitfire's meest geavanceerde urethaan en staat bekend om zijn ongeëvenaarde platspot-resistentie en aanhoudende snelheid. De Soft Sliders zijn een nieuwe categorie binnen de F4 lineup: zachter van durometer, maar met alle voordelen van de Formula Four technologie.

De wielen

De Formula Four Soft Sliders Classic zijn bijna vijf jaar in ontwikkeling geweest en definiëren een nieuwe categorie skatewiel. 93D is zacht genoeg om schokken en trillingen op ruw asfalt op te vangen, maar hard genoeg om te powersliden op straat, ledges en ruw beton. De Classic shape heeft een medium brede rijvlak met afgeronde zijwanden, de meest veelzijdige wielform in het skateboarden. Betrouwbare grip wanneer je hem nodig hebt, een soepele slide wanneer je dat wil. Ongeëvenaarde Formula Four platspot-resistentie houdt de wielen langer in goede conditie.

Maatadvies

De Classic shape werkt goed voor zowel technisch street skating als park en transition. De 93D durometer geeft het beste resultaat op ruw asfalt en ruwe ledges, maar werkt even goed op gladde ondergrond. Voor risers is 93D in de grotere maten aan te raden.

De Soft Sliders 93D zijn ideaal als je wil profiteren van de voordelen van een zachter wiel zonder in te leveren op slide-mogelijkheden. Goed te combineren met trucks van 149mm of groter en een deck van 8.0" of breder. Een uitstekende keuze voor skaters die veel op straat rijden maar ook van een snelle powerslide houden.
