Deze bijzonder complexe, elegante en intense pinot noir is gemaakt als eerbetoon aan de grootvader van broers Carlo en Dante Mondavi. De wijn heeft 10 maanden lang alleen op de allerbeste kleine franse eikenhouten vaten kunnen rijpen. Hij heeft prachtige tonen van wilde aardbeien, rozenblaadjes en hibiscus bloemen. Dit wordt daarna aangevuld door smaken van donkere kersen, witte thee, tijm en bosgrond.

Deze wijn is niet alleen geliefd door uw importeur, maar ook James Suckling, hij heeft deze wijn namelijk in 2023 benoemd als de nummer 1 in zijn “Top 100 Wines of the USA 2025” met 99 punten. Dus als je het niet van mij wil aannemen, doe het dan maar van hem.
