Let op: exacte ondersteuning hangt af van het servermodel en het gebruikte PSU/backplane type. Controleer bij vervanging altijd het huidige PSU-partnummer en de serverconfiguratie.
Voor servers wordt aangeraden om PSU's als set te gebruiken met gelijke specificaties. Best practice is om beide voedingen te plaatsen met hetzelfde wattage en dezelfde efficiëntieklasse (bijv. 750W 80 Plus Platinum) en bij voorkeur hetzelfde partnummer. Het mixen van verschillende wattages of PSU-families kan leiden tot 'PSU mismatch' meldingen of verlies van redundantie/load-sharing.
