Deze robuuste rode wijn komt uit de prestigieuze Corbières-appellation in de Languedoc-Roussillon, waar het warme mediterrane klimaat en de rijke kalkrijke bodems zorgen voor wijnen van uitzonderlijke kracht en finesse. Domaine de La Baume, sinds 1882 actief in deze streek, creëert met deze cuvée van Grenache, Syrah en Carignan een perfecte weerspiegeling van het Zuid-Franse terroir.

Smaakprofiel

Een diepe robijnrode kleur met violette tinten onthult intense aroma's van zwarte kersen, cassis en rijpe bramen, aangevuld met garrigue-kruiden zoals tijm en rozemarijn. De smaak is vol en gestructureerd met tonen van pruimen, zwarte olijven en mediterrane kruiden, terwijl de eikenhoutrijping subtiele vanille- en cacaonoten toevoegt. De afdronk is lang en harmonieus met een aangenaam kruidig karakter.

Spijscombinaties

Uitstekend bij lamsstoofpot met kruiden, gegrilde entrecote, cassoulet en gerijpte geitenkazen zoals Roquefort. Ook perfect bij wildgerechten en mediterrane groenteovens. Serveer bij 16-18°C.

Domaine de La Baume werd opgericht in 1882 in het hart van de Languedoc-Roussillon, nabij Pézenas. Het domaine combineert eeuwenoude traditie met moderne vinificatietechnieken en staat bekend om wijnen die de authentieke expressie van het Zuid-Franse terroir tot uiting brengen. Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand. My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!! He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again! Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy

Helpful for throwing as much as my dog wants to fetch. I actually had to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months after getting my dog - never had a dog with this much energy before! The Chuckit really helps. Downside: The ball that comes with it is larger than a tennis ball, so may be too much for smaller doge. I can't imagine my sister-in-law's french bulldog carrying it! Also, in our house it gets destroyed within minutes, as my dog is a strong chewer. For this situation, I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Black, size Large. This is shaped sort of like a snowman, which means it bounces unpredictably at times. My dog eventually chews the "head" off of this toy, but the remaining 2/3 still fits in the Chuckit (and is actually easier to throw with the "head" missing!). One caveat: the KONG is significantly heavier than the ball included with the Chuckit, so be aware of that... Also, we ordered our first Chickit in October 2015, then needed to replace it in May of 2017, as it broke. I think the plastic became brittle over that time, as we left it out in the sun & rain in Florida. Since it is cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. (We ordered three Kong toys over that same period of time!) To summarize, it's a very helpful tool to get the ball further, faster, with less strain, than without it. Knowing there are alternatives to the included ball for heavy chewers makes it worthwhile.
