Een jongensdroom kwam uit toen The Upsessions in eind 2013 samen met reggae-icoon en Grammy-winnaar Lee 'scratch' Perry vijftien nieuwe tracks opnamen. In hun zelfgebouwde studio namen ze met Perry én blazerssectie kwamen ze tot het vierde album The Upsessions Shake It! Ook de Nederlandse singer/songwriter Tim Knol is op dit album te horen. Door deze gastbijdrages, maar ook door uitstapjes naar ska, calypso, soul en funk, is 'Shake it!' diverser en spannender dan ooit.De basis van het album ligt nog altijd bij de ‘early reggae’. Toen Boss van Trigt, zanger en oprichter van de band, voor het eerst in aanraking kwam met deze zeer onbekend gebleven stijl wist hij het: die muziek moet weer gespeeld en gehoord worden. Deze oervorm van reggae, ontstaan uit de Jamaicaanse ska van begin jaren '60, was rauw, scherp, snel, aggresief en vooral zeer dansbaar. De teksten gingen over meisjes, vechten, drank, seks en zaten vaak vol humor en dubbele betekenissen.
Hoewel de early reggae altijd enigszins underground is gebleven, bestaat er wereldwijd nog altijd een 'scene' voor deze vroege Jamaicaanse muziek en the Upsessions speelden daar met hun debuutalbum 'The new heavyweight champion' uit 2007 goed op in. Vanaf de release van dat album, uitgebracht door het legendarische Britse ska-label 'Moon Ska Records' tourden the Upsessions dan ook door heel Europa, van Spanje tot Servie en van Denemarken tot Engeland.
Het tweede album 'Beat you reggae' uit 2010 zorgde ervoor dat de band ook in Nederland aan populariteit won. De snelle, energieke en zomerse reggae bleek het op festivals als Lowlands, Zwarte cross, Into the great wide open en Paaspop uitstekend te doen. Na een derde album en verschillende optredens op grote Europese ska-en reggaefestivals, en zelfs een optreden voor 5.000 feestende Brazilianen in Sao Paulo, zijn the Upsessions nu terug met hun vierde album: 'Shake it!'

Great chew toy, long lasting

This chew toy has been amazing. We have had it for 2 months with 2 dogs chewy on it and it is still going strong. We have a large Golden who chews on everything and and German Shepherd. Big dogs who chew aggressively. Very impressed! Would definitely buy again!

Perfect for young pups who get bored easily!

Our pup recently turned 1 and gets bored very easily, so she’s always looking for something new to chew or play with. We got her this little alligator toy and she is OBSESSED with it! She carries it everywhere and plays with it constantly. I’m honestly surprised by how durable it’s been considering how much use it gets. If you want to help save your furniture and household items from becoming chew toys, do yourself a favor and grab this for your pup!

Extremely durable but too large for our Aussie

This toy is very solid and seems like it would hold up well for aggressive chewers, but it ended up being too large and heavy for our Australian Shepherd. He had trouble comfortably holding it in his mouth and wasn’t very interested in chewing on it because of the size and weight.
The quality itself seems good, but I would recommend it more for larger dogs with bigger jaws that enjoy heavier chew toys.
