De Lomond wijnmakerij werd in 2004 opgericht en wordt omgeven door een bijzonder klimaat. Dankzij verkoelende winden kunnen de druiven langzaam rijpen en zo meer complexiteit ontwikkelen. Rondom het kleine stadje Gansbaai beheert het wijnhuis zo’n 800 hectare wijngaard. De Rockpool serie is ontstaan dankzij de focus op innovatie. Een vernieuwende wijn die nooit hetzelfde is als de vorige jaargang. De wijnen staan bekend om hun complexiteit en karakter en is altijd een weerspiegeling van het prachtige terroir. De wijngaard in Stellenbosch kijkt uit op de False Bay. De wind zorgt voor de nodige verkoeling waardoor de Chenin Blanc druiven perfect kunnen rijpen. De druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst en ondergaan in de wijnmakerij een strenge selectie. Alleen het beste van het beste is goed genoeg voor de wijnen van Rockpool. Na een zachte persing ondergaat de wijn een fermentatie op Russisch hout waardoor het een bijzonder karakter krijgt.Geniet van de tropische Rockpool Chenin Blanc
Met veel plezier schenken we deze Chenin Blanc van Rockpool in. Een heldere kleur met verfrissende aroma’s vallen meteen op. Veel tropisch fruit met hint van peer. Dankzij de fermentatie op Russisch hout heeft de wijn een unieke zoete sensatie gekregen. In de mond een goede structuur en mooi in balans met veel fruittonen. Our family is just getting started on the tallow journey so we’re learning. I have a son that deals with chapped lips continually so I thought I’d give this a shot. We were both horribly disappointed. Upon opening the balm a huge portion was smashed up into the lid. This is defeating the purpose of a lip balm. Also the texture is weird. It is crumbly and not able to spread easily. I hope this is a one off and not a tallow balm norm.

Love this so much
Big, chonky lip balm! I am one of those people who cannot have dry lips, so I am always applying lip balms. I put this one on before bed and again in the morning and have noticed my lips stay moisturized and soft longer and I do not need to apply my usual lip balm nearly as much throughout the day. Disclaimer: this lip balm is literally tallow/fat/oil, so I do not carry it in my pocket or purse as I am pretty sure it may melt.

This stuff works!!
I suffer from skin rashes underneath my breast. I’ve been prescribed a couple of different ointment/creams to use, one even had a steroid in it. They would clear the rash up after about a week. It was very gradual. I remembered buying this very cheap pain rub from the dollar store and it worked better than anything I’d paid $$ for. While searching on line for this pain rub I saw this Natrulo Skin Repair ointment. After reading the ingredients and reviews I decided to try it. I applied it as soon as it arrived. It went on smoothly and it did sting a little on some of the places where I had scratched. I applied it again that night after my shower and right before bed because it was really red underneath there. That was on a Monday, by Wednesday the redness was gone and so were the scratches! This stuff really works! Fast!!

It works.
I was skeptical of this product because of how I intended to use it. Sometimes, especially in summer, moisture accumulates in the crease of my legs (where they attach to my body). And, as a result, I get severely chafed to the point of breaking skin and bleeding (or at least seeping serum). I figured this could just wash away in the moisture. But, it didn't. I did very meticulous cleaning and drying and then applied this ointment. At least twice daily. And in just a few days my skin was healing. I'd say less than a week and I was back to normal.
Highly recommended.
