Montbiset Gris Rosé

De Montbiset Gris Rosé is een frisse en elegante rosé uit het zonnige Languedoc-Roussillon, in Zuid-Frankrijk. Gemaakt van de zeldzame Grenache Gris-druif, biedt deze wijn een unieke combinatie van frisheid en fruitige aroma’s. De wijn wordt geproduceerd door Montbiset, een wijnhuis dat bekend staat om zijn vakmanschap en liefde voor de Mediterrane wijntraditie. Dankzij de rijke bodems en het warme klimaat ontwikkelen de druiven een volle, gebalanceerde smaak, die perfect tot zijn recht komt in deze rosé.

Bij het inschenken valt direct de lichte, zalmroze kleur op. De geur trakteert op verleidelijk rood fruit, zoals bessen, frambozen en aardbeien, met subtiele minerale tonen en een vleugje citrus. De smaak is heerlijk fris en fruitig, met een verfijnde structuur en een aanhoudende, elegante afdronk. Perfect om zomerse dagen mee te vieren! Deze rosé is heerlijk om zo te drinken, maar komt ook perfect tot zijn recht bij lichte gerechten, zoals frisse salades of gegrilde kip.

Wijnhuis Montbiset
Montbiset neemt je mee op een reis door het zonnige Zuid-Frankrijk, waar eeuwenoude wijntradities van generatie op generatie worden doorgegeven. Gelegen in Saint-Saturnin-de-Lucian, dicht bij Montpellier, werkt dit wijnhuis samen met een groep gepassioneerde wijnboeren uit de regio. De wijngaarden strekken zich uit van de Hérault tot aan de Middellandse Zee, wat zorgt voor een unieke combinatie van terroirs. A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
