DuoDerm Extra Thin is een steriel, dun hydrocolloïdaal wondverband bestaande uit een wondcontactlaag van hydrocolloïden in een adhesieve polymeer matrix en een toplaag van polyurethaan film. Wanneer het wondverband in aanraking komt met wondvocht wordt een vochtig wondmilieu gecreëerd dat het genezingsproces stimuleert door bevordering van autolytisch debridement en het vergemakkelijken van de migratie van epitheelcellen. Tevens kan het verband verwijderd worden zonder nieuw gevormd grantulatieweefsel te beschadigen. De kleeflaag bevat elastische polymeren die het vermogen van het verband vergroten om het wondvocht vast te houden door het vormen van een samenhangende gel.

Waarvoor wordt dit middel gebruikt
Chronische wonden: droge tot licht exsuderende wonden
Acute wonden: chirurgische wonden, lichte brandwonden, schaafwonden en snijwonden.
Dermatologische indicaties: geïndiceerd voor monotherapie of in combinatie met topische corticosteroïden bij de behandeling van psoriasis of andere hardnekkige aandoeningen.
Aanwijzingen voor gebruik
Reinig de wond met fysiologisch zout 0,9%. Maak de omliggende huid droog met een kompres. Kies de gewenste maat van het verband zodat het 3 cm om de wondranden overlapt. Duroderm Extra Thin mag indien nodig op maak geknikpt worden.
Verwijder de beschermfolie van de achterzijde van het verband, waarbij contact van de vingers met de kleeflaag zoveel mogelijk vermeden dient te worden.
Breng Duoderm Extra Thin aan in een rollende beweging zonder het verband uit te rekken.
Verwarm het verband met de hand voor een goede hechting rond de wond
Bij moeilijke anatomische plaatsen kan het nuttig zijn om de randen van het verband vast te plakken met hypo-allergene pleister.
DuoDerm Extra Thin mag maximaal tot 7 dagen blijven zitten.
Verwijderen van het verband: druk de huid naast het wondverband omlaag en trek voorzichtig met de andere hand een hoekje van het wondverband los.
Contra-indicaties
Patiënten die bekend zijn met een overgevoeligheid voor DuoDerm Extra Thin of de componenten hiervan.
Niet on combinatie met topische corticosteroïden gebruiken wanneer occlusie niet is geïndiceerd.
Niet gebruiken wanneer de verpakking beschadigd is.

Functional and easy to install!
Color: Cool White
This umbrella light is super handy! It hinges open to allow installation around the umbrella pole, so you don’t have to remove umbrella from table to add the light. I like that it can be charged with included USB cord or can use regular batteries. The different light settings are also nice depending on how much light you need or want at the time. We’ll be using this quite often when sitting at the table by the pool this summer.

A lovely gentle cleanser - good for rosacea-prone skin
I have also purchased the Thayer's Milky toner and really liked it.
I normally use oil-based cleansers, like Beauty of Joseon ginseng oil cleanser (which I still do love), and Cosrx makes a snail mucin cleanser that I use for cleansing off makeup or sunscreen and it's very nice. But for my daily regular wash, particularly in the morning, I like a very gentle easy-to-wash-off cleanser that hydrates and soothes.
This Thayer's has no perfumes/fragrances! Good for rosacea-prone skin. Hydrates and soothes very well.
It didn't strip my skin, wasn't oily at all (though good oil-based cleansers do feel oily they don't stay oily), and felt wonderful as I cleansed my skin - also washed away very easily and quickly; I do about 14 or so splashes of water to be sure all is removed then use a washable reusable toner pad with toner to remove any lingering residue.
It doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry. It is gentle. It doesn't lather up, which I like since I don't use lathering products or soaps on my face. No burning, itching, redness, or any irritation at all.
I normally use K-Beauty but Thayer's is one brand I will use that's not in the K-Beauty products category. It really is a lovely cleanser.

Gentle, Hydrating Cleanser That Doesn’t Strip My Skin
I’ve been really enjoying this cleanser so far. The formula feels lightweight, creamy, and hydrating without leaving behind any heavy residue. I especially love that it’s fragrance free and sulfate free because it feels very gentle on my skin and doesn’t leave my face feeling stripped, tight, or dry after washing.
The ingredients are a huge plus for me, especially the snow mushroom and hyaluronic acid. My skin feels soft, balanced, and hydrated after every use. I’ve also noticed my skin looking healthier overall since adding this into my routine.
Another feature I appreciate is the locking pump, which makes it convenient for travel or storing without worrying about leaks. Overall, this feels like a high-quality everyday cleanser and I’ll definitely continue using it.

Use it for barrier repair and our sensitive skin
This does not remove makeup the best, but my daughter and I use it for barrier repair and our sensitive skin. It helps our skin feel soft and hydrated instead of stripped or tight after washing. Love,Love, LOVE This Cleanser – Dry Skin Game-Changer!
I can’t say enough good things about this cleanser. I have very dry, sensitive skin, and it’s hard to find products that cleanse effectively without stripping my skin or leaving it tight and flaky. This one is a total winner! The texture is creamy and gentle almost soothing when applied. After using it, my skin feels clean but still soft and hydrated.
