Als zonnewijzer met ingebouwd kompas kun je met "Denise" de tijd bepalen, zoals de oude zeevaarders dat vroeger deden. De armband van buffelleer is super stevig en houdt de kop van het horloge veilig en stevig op zijn plaats.

Met "Denise" kun je de tijd aflezen zoals op volle zee!

Om de tijd af te lezen, ga je op een zonnige plek staan, houd je de klok recht en richt je hem met behulp van het ingebouwde kompas naar het noorden. Als de schaduwwijzer is uitgeklapt, werpt hij een schaduw op de uurring, waar je nu de tijd kunt aflezen. Als de zon een ongunstige hoek heeft, bijvoorbeeld omdat hij 's middags zo hoog staat dat de wijzer geen schaduw werpt, kan dit ook met het horloge worden gecorrigeerd. Klap hiervoor de hoekindicator open en kantel de uurring zo ver dat de schaduw van de wijzer weer op de uurring valt!
