Deze digitale thermometer van Omron heeft een flexibele tip, waardoor hij prettiger is in gebruik. De Microlife MT 200 is voor oraal, rectaal en axillair (onder de oksel) gebruik. In 10 seconden meet je de lichaamstemperatuur.

De beste temperatuurmeting is rectaal, omdat onder de tong en in de oksel vaak een lagere meetresultaat wordt weergegeven. Ook is een rectale meting bij kleine kinderen praktischer dan een orale of axillaire meting, omdat het voor hen moeilijk is om de thermometer onder de tong of onder de oksel te houden.

Piepsignaal bij koortstemperatuur

Het is belangrijk om te weten of iemand in je directe omgeving koorts heeft. Daarom geeft de thermometer een pieptoon wanneer een temperatuur boven de koortstemperatuur (37,5˚C) gemeten wordt.

Anti-allergeen tip

De tip van de Microlife MT 200 thermometer is een Gold Tip, die een huidallergische reactie helpt voorkomen. De meeste koortsthermometer tips zijn van nikkel en mensen met een nikkelallergie kunnen hierop reageren.

Lichaamstemperatuur meten met de Microlife MT 200

  1. Druk op de aan-/uit-knop.
  2. Plaats de thermometer op de meetlocatie.
  3. Na 10 seconden hoor je een piepje.
  4. Verwijder de thermometer van de meetlocatie en lees de temperatuur af.
  5. Je kunt de thermometer uitschakelen, maar het apparaat schakelt ook automatisch uit na een bepaalde tijd.
  6. Reinig en desinfecteer de thermometer voordat je 'm opbergt.

Hoe vaak lichaamstemperatuur meten?

Bij ziekte kun je de lichaamstemperatuur het beste 2 tot 3 keer per dag meten met tussenpozen van 4 tot 6 uur. Voor een betrouwbaar beeld meet je altijd op dezelfde plek van het lichaam en ongeveer op dezelfde tijdstip over verschillende dagen. Zo kun je de resultaten goed met elkaar vergelijken.

I'd recommend it, especially at this give-away-price
As a sociologist, I was always interested as to how the USSR could morph what Marx considered communalism networked by a shallow, weak, centralized and supposedly representative government into what I would considered an extremest left-wing oligarchy (most fashionably consider it right-wing despite how it was sold and supported by the people that allowed it- so much for cultural relativity and in context social analysis!). If Stalin actually wrote these pieces (or more commonly among dictators farmed it out to a frightened academic ghostwriter) then it could help explain why Marx disassociated himself with much of the Marxist movement toward the end of his life. It is a logically written and well informed book - worth the read if you are into the sociology of politics, philosophy of politics or the history of politics. I'd recommend it, especially at this give-away-price!

Good book, mediocre edition

This review pertains to the quality of this edition's editing and construction, rather than the content of the book itself. Rest assured that the text itself remains a valuable piece of introductory theory. The book is fairly well constructed, with paper and a binding that is sturdy enough for general use. However, my copy had several manufacturing errors including folded over pages being stuck into the binding. In addition, there are several misspelled words throughout the text and some obvious typos (missing letters, incorrect capitalization and punctuation) that did not majorly impact the readability of the text, but were, nevertheless, annoying. Considering the low price of this edition the manufacturing errors are hardly a big deal, but I would have preferred the text itself to have been treated with more care and respect while being prepared for printing.

Although I feel he has been thoughtful and successful in some areas such as improving China economically, I don’t feel his autocratic approach will succeed in the long run when more Chinese people will demand to be heard.
