Het BROOKS C17 Special zadel is de luxe interpretatie van de Cambium-serie. Het behoudt de uitzonderlijke geometrie en het comfort van de standaard C17, maar voegt exclusieve afwerkingsdetails toe. De structuur is gemaakt van gevulkaniseerd natuurrubber en biedt dat unieke 'hangmat'-effect dat schokken en trillingen van de weg absorbeert zonder dat een inrijperiode nodig is.

Het bijzondere aan de Special-serie is de metalen afwerking: de koperen of geanodiseerde aluminium klinknagels en de rugplaat voegen een handgemaakt accent toe dat herinnert aan het historische erfgoed van Brooks England. De organische katoenen of nylon hoes (afhankelijk van de versie) is behandeld om UV en de elementen te weerstaan. Hoe maak ik het oppervlak van het zadel schoon? Je hebt alleen een vochtige doek nodig. De hoes is ontworpen om vuilafstotend te zijn. De biologisch katoenen versies kunnen indien nodig voorzichtig worden gereinigd met zeepwater.
