Colore rosso rubino tendente al granato. Al naso presenta un bouquet penetrante, molto ampio e vario, con memorie di frutti di bosco. Al palato è asciutto, caldo, ben sostenuto, armonico, delicato e austero allo stesso tempo. Persistente.Il Brunello di Montalcino Riserva dell'azienda Caparzo, con una prima annata datata 1980, viene prodotto solo ed esclusivamente negli anni migliori, a partire da uve selezionate personalmente dall’enologo Massimo Bracalente. Prodotta in un limitato numero di bottiglie e destinata a un pubblico di attenti appassionati, la Riserva è capace di risvegliare al palato sensazioni uniche.
Ottimo con arrosti e grigliate di carne rossa, è ideale anche in accompagnamento a selvaggina, brasati e formaggi stagionati.
