Het "Ridgeline" design heeft grafische lijnen die geïnspireerd zijn op hoogtelijnen en woestijnterrein, wat zorgt voor een meer sobere en verfijnde look terwijl het diep geworteld blijft in het freeride DNA. Dit ultralichte spatbord is je eerste verdedigingslinie tegen spatwater en beschermt zowel je ogen als je vorkafdichtingen, zodat de vering optimaal blijft presteren tijdens je rit.

Zit dit spatbord in de weg bij brede banden? Nee, het spatbord heeft een zeer slank profiel en de gebogen vorm is ontworpen om voldoende ruimte over te laten, zelfs met modderige 2.4" of 2.6" banden.

Hoe maak ik het spatbord schoon zodat er geen krassen op het ontwerp komen? Een simpele spray met water of een spons met fietszeep is alles wat je nodig hebt. Het patroon is zo gedrukt dat het bestand is tegen herhaaldelijk wrijven en schoonmaken.

Past het op E-bike vorken? Ja, het past. Het is compatibel met vorken met een groot frame (zoals Fox 38 of RockShox Zeb) die veel voorkomen op moderne VTTAE-fietsen.

Wat is het verschil in stijl tussen de Ridgeline en het Freeride model? Het Ridgeline model is meer gericht op texturen en reliëf (topografie) en biedt een meer 'expert' en stealthy look, terwijl de Freeride kleurrijker en dynamischer is (beter zichtbaar logo).

Saves time and money

I used this kit to fix a flat tire on one of my lawn tractors from a roofing nail. I used the smallest size (blue vial) and the supplied Phillips screwdriver to screw it in after applying a dab of rubber adhesive. Then I waited about 30 minutes to inflate the tire. The only thing missing from this kit is a set of pliers to pull out any nails or screws, so provide your own if you will be carrying this in your vehicle for roadside use. There are three sizes of screws, and they are steel (I expected that they would be plastic or rubber). The steel will have increased durability. The blue vials contain the smallest screws, the pink contain the medium, and the white contain the largest screws. The screws have some sort of pre-applied rubbery stuff on the threads that I believe helps them stick to the rubber with the supplied rubber adhesive. This kit is easy to use and is a great value for the amount of flat tires you can fix on your own versus the work, time, and money it takes to go to a tire shop. The black look of the screws camouflages the repair, just make sure you screw in the plug far enough into the tire that it won't contact the road or it will eventually wear off the black finish.
