Thanks to its self-adhesive properties, the bandage is easy to apply, does not absorb water, and does not become heavier during use, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Use
Sealtex is used to wrap the bit and can be cut to the desired length. This allows you to wrap the entire bit or only part of it to soften the contact in the horse’s mouth and help prevent rubbing. If required, the bit can also be made thicker. The material is also suitable for wrapping cheekpieces. On average, the bandage lasts around one week, depending on the horse.
Key features
The bit bandage is highly elastic and adheres to itself when stretched. It is designed for use in show jumping, eventing, and dressage (please inform yourself about the regulatories in your country regarding approvement for competitions). Made from 100 percent latex, it is safe for the horse, taste-neutral, and leaves no residue on the bit. One pack contains two rolls of 60 cm each, with one roll being sufficient for a complete bit.
