- De plant heeft een compacte, struikachtige vorm en kan bij goede zorg kleine, witte bloemen ontwikkelen die een lichte geur afgeven.
- Na de bloei kunnen zich kleine rode bessen vormen, waarin de koffiebonen zich ontwikkelen, hoewel dit binnenshuis zeldzaam is.
- De Coffea Arabica doet het goed op een lichte plek met indirect zonlicht. Te veel direct zonlicht kan de bladeren beschadigen, dus plaats de plant bij voorkeur in de halfschaduw binnen.
- Deze plant heeft een regelmatige watergift nodig om de grond licht vochtig te houden. Bewater de Coffea Arabica ongeveer twee keer per week, afhankelijk van de luchtvochtigheid in huis. Laat de grond niet volledig uitdrogen.
