Sindsdien is er een uitgebreid moderniserings- en investeringsprogramma opgezet, gericht op de productie van geweldige wijn met behulp van de wijnbouw ervaringen van Bordeaux en andere gebieden waar Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite gevestigd is. De Chardonnay druiven van de Lafite wijngaard worden aangevuld met een selectie druiven uit de Central Valley, die bekend staat om zijn geweldige Chardonnay-productie.

De oogst van de Los Vascos Chardonnay

De druiven worden voor daglicht geoogst om een maximale versheid te behouden. Bij aankomst in de wijnmakerij worden ze geperst en gefermenteerd bij lage temperatuur in roestvrijstalen tanks om hun aromatische potentieel te behouden. De Chardonnay is gedeeltelijk verouderd op zijn droesem, wat zijn unieke mondgevoel verleent.

Hoe smaakt de Los Vascos Chardonnay

De kleur van deze Chardonnay is goud geel met een gele schittering. Volle structuur en tranend in het glas geeft hij in de geur nuances van banaan, papaja, limoen en mango met groene thee en een beetje kamille. De wijn is rijk in de mond, met een grote persistentie en verfrissende zuurgraad. De afdronk is vol, mild en romig. De afdronk van een echte goede Chardonnay wijn!

Even my boyfriend keeps commenting how much he likes it. It's a usable piece of art! I will comment that the earring holes can be a little tricky since the leaves are turned all different ways.
