Nieuw-Zeeland is een van de jongste wijnlanden ter wereld. De geschiedenis is amper veertig jaar oud. Hoewel wijnbouw al langer plaatsvindt in de land in het Oceanië, was het toch pas halverwege de jaren tachtig toen de eerste Nieuw-Zeelandse wijnen werden geëxporteerd. De wijnen vielen in de smaak; vooral bij de Europese wijndrinker. Het succes steeg gestaag en steeds meer wijnhuizen werden opgericht in Nieuw-Zeeland. En dan vooral op één plek: de Marlborough. Wie Nieuw-Zeeland zegt, zegt Marlborough. Dit wijngebied, gelegen in het noorden op het zuidereiland, heeft zich ontwikkeld tot de autoriteit van Sauvignon Blanc wijnen. Deze druif geeft een uniek karakter aan de Nieuw-Zeelandse wijn. Glazebrook Ngatarawa maar misschien wel Marlborough wijnen, het wijnhuis zelf is gevestigd op een van de mooiste plekken van Nieuw-Zeeland. Wie de coördinaten van het wijnhuis - 041°S 174°E - intoetst op Google Maps, komt uit in de archipel op ht noordelijke puntje van het zuidereiland; werkelijk een van de mooiste plekken van het land. Maar niet alleen de locatie is prachtig; ook de geur en smaak van Glazebrook Ngatarawa Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is uitermate goed te noemen. Verfrissend en verkwikkend. Zuivere limoenen, frisse grapefruits en iets van granny smith. De kenmerkende smaak van passievrucht en perzik openbaart zich goed op de smaakpapillen. Great choice to save space

Pretty cheap but surprisingly solid

This thing comfortably fits my 16” MacBook Pro. It does tilt a bit probably due to me screwing it to the underside of my wooden desk which probably isn’t the exact use for it, but it holds really strong and isn’t going anywhere. Combining this with a small USB-C hub for some USB As and and extra HDMI and a little bit of Velcro, this holder makes for a pretty solid option to hide you laptop away if you a surprisingly clean desktop-like experience, even if you’re on a budget and can’t afford a desktop. A proper thunderbolt docking station would go a long way with this as well.

Genius solution for a cleaner, more organized desk

This mount completely transformed my workspace. I was looking for a way to get my laptop off my desk without buying a whole new piece of furniture, and this delivered. The clear design blends into any space so it doesn’t look clunky, and installation was easier than I expected. My laptop is secure and easily accessible, and I’ve freed up so much desk real estate. If you’re trying to create a cleaner, more minimal workspace, this is a great purchase. We did have to screw it in place because the sticky side came off after a few days, but I think it’s just the temperature fluctuations in my office.
